Alarm Masking

Definition

Alarm masking is the process of 'hiding' alarms. After an alarm is masked, this won't be reported on DeviceManager nor will it trigger email notification, SMS notification, Syslog notification or Trap alarm notification

Requirements:

• Alarm ID of the alarm that needs Masking

Tasks

1. Go to Settings > Alarm Settings

1. Go to Alarm Masking

1. Filter by using the Alarm ID column

1. Select the Alarm and click 'Enable'

1. Check the Agreement Box and press 'OK' to finish this process and mask the desired alarm
